- Wang Jianlin is the chairman of Dalian Wanda Group, which has investments in real estate, finance and movie theaters.
- Dalian Wanda is one of the world's biggest commercial real estate developers with more than 500 plazas across China.
- Once the richest man in Asia, Wang has been retreating in recent years, selling his Chinese hotel and tourism portfolio for over $9 billion in 2017.
- The tycoon has also sold most of his stake in U.S. movie theater chain AMC and a stake in Spanish soccer club Atletico de Madrid.
