- Vadim Moshkovich, the longtime chairman of agro-industrial firm Rusagro, a Russian manufacturer of pork and sugar, resigned in 2022 after being hit with sanctions.
- Moshkovich got his start selling apartments, vodka and oil in the early 1990s and later invested in land and created Rusagro.
- Moshkovich spent eight years in Russia's Federation Council, the upper house of parliament, before resigning in December 2014.
- In March 2025 he was arrested and placed in custody on charges of fraud, giving a bribe and abuse of power. Moshkovish pled not guilty to the charges.
