- Sylvan Adams is the son of Marcel Adams (died August 2020, at age 100), who founded Canadian real estate company Iberville Developments.
- Iberville owns and manages a nearly eight million square feet of real estate (shopping centers, office spaces, industrial properties, and residential assets), according to Adams.
- He was named president and CEO of Iberville in 1994. Three years later he bought out family member stakes in the company and became sole holder of Iberville Developments.
