- Song Chi-hyung is cofounder and chairman of Dunamu, which operates Upbit, South Korea's largest crypto exchange by daily trading volume.
- In November 2025, South Korean search engine behemoth Naver said its payment arm, Naver Financial, will acquire Dunamu in a stock swap that values the combined entity at $13.6 billion.
- Dunamu's previous investors include Kakao Ventures, Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm Altos Ventures and Hybe, the agency behind K-pop powerhouse BTS.
- Before starting Dunamu with Kim Hyoung-nyon, who is also a billionaire, Song worked at local mobile payment company Danal.
