- Sergei Sudarikov is the main shareholder of Region Group, which includes banking, pension fund, insurance, brokerage and asset management companies.
- Sudarikov began at Region in 1995 as a trader. In 2011, he and a group of partners bought the business from its founder.
- Region bought several asset management businesses from state-owned oil firm Rosneft in 2011, helping it become one of Russia's largest investment groups.
- In 2019, Sudarikov agreed to merge his assets with billionaire Roman Avdeev's Rossium concern, active in finance, real estate development and oil.
