Biography
- Renu Munjal is the daughter-in-law of late Brijmohan Lall Munjal, founder of India's Hero Group, who died in 2015 at age 92. Her late husband Raman Kant Munjal, was one of three sons of the patriarch.
- The group's flagship company is Hero MotoCorp, one of the largest producers of two-wheelers in the world.
- She is the managing director of Hero Fincop, the financial services unit of the group. Her son Abhimanyu is joint managing director and CEO.
- Renu chairs the Raman Kant Munjal Foundation, which supports education, skill development and community development.
- She's also a founding member of Gurgaon-based BML Munjal University which offers undergrad courses as well as MBA programs.
