- Qiu Jianping is the chairman of Hangzhou GreatStar Industrial, one of Asia's largest hand tool manufacturers.
- Qiu took the plunge as an entrepreneur at age 30 after he was dissatisfied with his wage at a state-owned company.
- He founded GreatStar Holding Group in 1993, which today also has interests in tires, forklifts, diesel engines and robotics.
