- Mahaveer Prasad Taparia is the managing director of Mumbai-based plastics producer Supreme Industries.
- Supreme is one of India's largest plastic processors, making everything from moulded furniture to composite gas cylinders.
- The Mumbai-headquartered company also makes bathroom fittings and storage products in its 28 factories across India.
- His older brother Bajranglal Taparia, the company's chairman, and his nephew Shivratan Taparia Supreme's executive director, also have stakes in the company.
