- Ivan Savvidis, a Greek-Russian businessman, is the founder of Agrocom Group, whose assets included Russian tobacco firm Donskoy Tabak.
- Savvidis sold Donskoy Tabak for $1.6 billion to Japan Tabacco in March 2018.
- Seen as a Putin ally, Savvidis is a former member of the Russian parliament.
- Through his Greek company Dimera, he owns a stake in soccer team FC PAOK in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he also operates a port.
