- Eren Ozmen is chairwoman, president and majority owner of private aerospace and defense company Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC).
- In April 2024, SNC won a $13.1 billion contract from the U.S. Air Force to develop its next E-4 "Doomsday" plane, which would run the military's response to a nuclear war.
- In April 2021, SNC spun off its space capabilities into a new commercial space company, Sierra Space.
