- Constantinos Martinos is the owner of Greek shipping firm Thenamaris, which has a fleet of 87 tankers, bulk carriers, container ships and LNG carriers.
- He cofounded the company in 1972 with his mother and two brothers. His brothers, Athanasios and Andreas, split off in 1990 and 1998, respectively, leaving him with Thenamaris.
- Collectively, Constantinos and his brothers own the largest shipping fleet in Greece, the largest shipowning nation in the world.
- Thenamaris is now run by his son, Nikolas. His other son Ioannis runs shipping services firm Signal Group.
